How We Started
- - The company was founded in 1960, the repair shop of the IRE Bacau, in addition to the 110 kV transformer station which deserve the Roman Pipes Facility. The staff originally consisted of 12 employees, specializing in current revisions and repairs electrical equipment and transformers in the station, up to a power of 6300 kVA.
- - In 1965 there is an important first repair of 25 MVA transformer. The extension makes it possible to repair transformers studio max. 40 MVA and start of production of spare parts for electrical devices.
- - In 1968 the unit became part within IRE Bacau/CIRE Bucuresti and gets called SUCREE Roman.
- - In 1976, begin construction of a modern repair shop Large Transformers, which will allow further significant enhancement of the portfolio of products and services and increasing the number of employees.
- - In 1977 the company becomes plant, as the URTAE Roman, part of the IRE Bacau / CIRE Bucuresti.
- - In 1992 the company became a joint stock company with share capital entirely private, under the current name, registered under number RC. J27/299/1993, RO3426320 tax code, listed on Bucharest Stock Exchange, symbol ELER on the section RASDAQ.
- - ELEROM is certified as a provider by C.N. Transelectrica, Hidroelectrica S.A, Termoelectrica S.A si Electrica S.A, they were also beneficiaries of the company's traditional.
- - Systems Management for Quality, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety, are certified by Romanian Society for Quality Assurance (SRAC) and The International Certification Network (IQNet).
- - ELEROM products with high risk are regularly certified by INCDPM Bucuresti - ICSPM-CS
